The Czech national pavilion will feature 17 Czech exhibitors, alongside a number of additional companies taking part in the accompanying business mission. The Czech delegation will comprise more than 80 participants, marking the country’s largest-ever presence at Gamescom.

Prague, 19 August 2026 – The Czech Republic will once again have a joint national presence at Gamescom, the world’s largest event for video games and the games business. Gamescom will take place from 26 to 30 August 2026 in Cologne, Germany. The Czech pavilion in the business area will be located in Hall 4.1, booth A020g, and will host 17 Czech companies together with the Czech Game Developers Association (GDACZ). The Czech presentation is part of the Czech Republic’s official participation, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Every year, Gamescom brings together game developers, publishers, investors, technology companies, media and the gaming community. The 2025 edition attracted 357,000 visitors and 1,568 exhibitors from 72 countries, with 34,000 trade visitors attending the event. For Czech companies, it therefore represents a highly concentrated opportunity to showcase their projects, find business partners and enter new markets.

The joint Czech exhibition will showcase the breadth of the country’s game industry ecosystem, ranging from PC, console, mobile and VR game development to animation, cinematics and AI-powered tools, as well as publishing, data and legal services. Exhibitors will include All Animal Studio, Back in Service, Brocap Studio, Cyber Sail Consulting, David Konecny, FanAttic, Hidden Interactive, Ingame Studios, Kapnetix, Kinstellar, Marty’s Makings, MOD42 Studio, Ouuly technologies, SCS Software, Terahype, Veska Games and VG Invest.

“Gamescom is one of the most important places for Czech studios to meet publishers, investors, platforms and technology partners from around the world within just a few days. The joint national pavilion gives both established companies and smaller teams an opportunity to present themselves under one strong brand and turn the creative quality of Czech games into new business opportunities,” says Pavel Barák, Chairman of the Czech Game Developers Association.

Czech Game Day and CzechTrade Business Mission

On Wednesday, 26 August, from 17:30 to 19:00, the Czech pavilion will host a special Czech Game Day reception. The event will feature presentations of Czech projects, networking with developers and company representatives, as well as an informal reception with Czech beer and refreshments. The event is also open to journalists, influencers, business partners and games industry professionals. Registration is available via Eventbrite.

The participation of Czech companies will be further complemented by a CzechTrade business mission from 25 to 28 August. Its programme will include, among other activities, a visit to KölnBusiness, a meeting with Games Syndicate Cologne, a pitching session involving Czech and French companies, visits to the STARTPLATZ startup hub and EIT Culture & Creativity, a meeting with SK Gaming, and B2B meetings during Gamescom.
