The Prague Game Accelerator has opened applications for its second edition. The programme is designed for emerging game creators, teams and studios with ties to Prague who already have their own game prototype and want to move it into the next stage of development.
The programme builds on the 2025 pilot edition, which was aimed at student teams from Prague-based schools. This year, it is opening up to a wider group of applicants – including emerging Prague-based developers, students, independent teams and recently established studios.
A maximum of eight teams will be selected for the programme. They will take part in an intensive summer school, a follow-up individual acceleration programme and consultations with professionals from the Czech and European games industry. The programme will focus on practical aspects of further game development – from game design, technology and production to marketing, business, legal topics, audience development and presenting projects to partners, publishers or investors.
The Prague Game Accelerator will begin on 3 August 2026 with an opening event and the introduction of the selected teams and mentors. From 4 to 14 August, participants will take part in a summer school consisting of lectures and workshops. Starting on 17 August, the programme will continue with ten weeks of mentoring, consultations and work on the teams’ own projects.
Selected teams will gain access to more than 30 lectures and workshops, at least 30 hours of individual consultations, ongoing support from an acceleration manager and a tailor-made acceleration plan. The programme will culminate in a Demo Day, during which participants will present their projects to an expert jury, publishers and investors.
Applications are open until 19 June 2026 and can be submitted by email to info@kreativnipraha.eu.
